Save TikTok audio as an MP3

Sometimes it's the sound you want, not the video — a voiceover, a remix, an original song a creator posted, or a clip you're going to use over your own footage. This tool pulls the audio track out of a public TikTok post and hands it to you as an MP3 file.

The audio is taken from TikTok's own copy of the post, so it keeps the quality of the upload. Nothing is re-recorded through a speaker or a microphone, which is what makes screen-recording hacks sound muddy.

How to convert a TikTok to MP3

Same flow as the video downloader — the output is just audio.

1

Copy the TikTok link

Open the post with the sound you want and use Share → Copy link. A link to the video works; you do not need to open TikTok's separate sound page.

2

Analyze the post

Paste the link above and press the button. The tool reads the post and shows you the title and the creator, so you can check you've got the right sound.

3

Download the MP3

Press download. The audio saves to your device as an MP3, ready to drop into a video editor, a podcast timeline or a music app.

What you can and can't extract

If a post uses a commercial track from TikTok's music library, the audio you get is the portion of that track used in the post — not the full studio release. For an original sound recorded by the creator, you get the whole thing as posted.

Music is almost always copyrighted. Saving a sound for private listening or for a personal edit is one thing; re-uploading it, monetising it or releasing it as your own is another. Check the rights before you publish anything built on someone else's track.

TikTok MP3 downloader FAQ

What bitrate is the MP3?

The audio comes out at the quality TikTok serves for that post, typically around 128 kbps. The tool does not upscale it — no converter can add detail that was never in the source.

Can I download just a TikTok sound page?

Paste a link to a video that uses the sound. Sound-only pages on TikTok do not always expose a downloadable file, whereas a post that uses the sound does.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Safari saves the MP3 into Files. If you want it in your music library, open Files and move it across, or import it directly in your editing app.

Do I need the video as well?

No — but if you want both, run the link through the video downloader too. The two downloads are independent.
